Polypropylene packaging film

Polypropylene film is also called (B)OPP or Coex. Polypropylene materials are transparent and are often used for functionally packaging dry food and non-food products. Polypropylene is highly capable of withstanding chemical solvents, acids and bacterial growth. Four examples of polypropylene in SAREBO's product range are the polypropylene transparent, polypropylene high-speed, polypropylene anti-condensation and metallised propylene film.

Polypropylene transparent

This 'standard' transparent polypropylene film can be used on nearly every packaging machine. SAREBO provides transparent polypropylene in thicknesses that vary from 15µ to 50µ.

Polypropylene LTS

This transparent polypropylene film has been specially developed to achieve faster processing on the packaging line. The special aspect of this packaging film is that it requires a very low sealing temperature of 80° C. Depending on the supply/removal of products on your packaging line, processing speeds of 80 metres per minute can be achieved.

Polypropylene anti-condensation

SAREBO advises polypropylene anti-condensation film for packaging products such as vegetables, sandwiches and processed meat. This film ensures that the condensation is guided to the sides of the packaging so that the product remains perfectly visible. This is important, for example, when packaging products for the refrigerated section.

Metallised polypropylene film

Thanks to a metallised side, this polypropylene film is UV-resistant and significantly lowers the oxygen permeability of the packaging. These specific product properties ensure that your products maintain the desired quality, aroma, colour and flavour for a longer period of time. The metallised polypropylene film is often used for packaging crisps and other dry products. Apart from this standard materials, the metallised film is also available as a low-temperature film for processing speeds of 80 metres per minute.

Flexible roll length, roll width and film thickness

SAREBO provides (laser) perforated, printed and unprinted polypropylene films from rolls, depending on your product and the indicated requirements. If you have questions or if you would like to know more about SAREBO's available polypropylene films, please contact us to discuss your wishes.
