Sarebo was founded in 2002 as a one-man business operating from a home office, focusing on the commercial sale of BOPP film. Recognising new opportunities, founder Henk Bos purchased his first cutting machine in September 2003 and moved into rented industrial premises in Son en Breugel. This marked the beginning of Sarebo’s own film production.

Over time, the product portfolio expanded to include various types of film, supported by exclusive partnerships with leading manufacturers. Steady growth led to the establishment of Sarebo B.V. in 2006, accompanied by an expansion of both the workforce and the machine park. In 2008, Sarebo became one of the first companies of its size to obtain BRC certification.

In 2012, the decision was made to construct a purpose-built facility with offices and warehouse space in Eindhoven, which became operational in 2013. Since then, Sarebo has been proudly based in the Brainport Eindhoven region. Continued portfolio growth has driven further investment in people and automation.
